We're Saying it Louder: America has No Kings

Trump and his billionaire backers want to crown themselves rulers for life. But millions of us are about to remind them of one truth: Americans don’t do kings.

October 18 will be one of the largest coordinated protests in U.S. history. In cities and towns across the country, we’ll flood the streets in peaceful defiance. We’ll show lawmakers, corporations, judges, and community leaders that the people will not be ruled — we will be represented. We will march from the Missoula County Courthouse to W Alder Street where we will hear from speakers about our freedoms that are under attack.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
